To live unto Thee, is gain My Lord
in so many different ways
That I often look in wonder
at the order of my days...
Some spent in contemplation and
some in various pursuits
Always spent with thoughts of Thee
for there are no substitutes.
I love to come into the silence
and contemplate Your Word
There are so many different facets
even some that are unheard...
How deep and mysterious is this world
in which You do reside
I am filled with awe and wonder
at all that is magnified.
The prophets and poets have spoken
and have tried to clarify
The messages You have given
and tried to amplify...
But alas, so few will listen
as they run to and fro
O Lord, Thank You for your mercy
on Your creation here below.
(c) 2014 Karen Langford Brown
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my
voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will
sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will
I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame,
and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath
an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."
Revelation 3: 20-22
