Burdens Lifted At Calvary

Burdens Lifted At Calvary

LORD, I am sharing all my burdens
in prayer to You today
You've said that You would take them
and all my fears allay.
This world is in such turmoil
and we need Your Guiding Hand
LORD, Thank You for Your Mercy
upon us in this land.

LORD, how do we stray so far from You
in our thoughts, word and deed?
Your Spirit dwells within us
and You supply our every need...
So I pray today on bended knee
to refresh, restore and heal
This wounded, broken beautiful world
this, today is my appeal.

(c) 2016 Karen Langford Brown

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I
will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest upon
your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Matthew 11: 28-30
