We Doth Yearn

We Doth Yearn

When the storms of life assail us
we are safe in the shadow of His Wings
We bow down upon bended knees
and to Him we do cling.
When evil doth surround us
we are safe forevermore
For we trust in that Blessed hope
through the One that we adore.
So today, do not be weary in welldoing
the blessings are yet to be
We serve a risen Savior
that has set us free...
Lift up your eyes and behold
the coming of our LORD
For He promised He would return
with His flaming sword.
Oh, what joy awaits us
as we contemplate His return
Oh, come forth, Precious Jesus
for You, our soul doth yearn.

(c)2017 Karen Langford Brown

"How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God!
therefore the children of men put their trust
under the shadow of thy wings."
Psalm 36:7
