Sitting At His Feet

Sitting At His Feet

May I sit at Your feet dear Jesus
and be taught from You alone?
For only You have the words of life
and say what You have known.
May I take the lessons You teach me
and bring honor unto Your Name
My heart and soul belong to You, Lord
and I am never, ever the same.

Teach me, Precious Jesus, for only
You do know the way
May I walk in newness of life
as You show me the way...
My world is shattered in bits and pieces
and only One can make it whole
That is You, Precious Jesus, the One
that can save my soul.

So unto You, I lay my burdens down
they are too heavy for me
I kneel upon bended knee
and make unto You my plea...
Cleanse me, make me whole in Thee
is my urgent and heartfelt request
Knowing I am heard and belong to You
I am so very Blessed!

(c) 2018 Karen Langford Brown

"You heard my plea: "Do not close your ears to my cry for
relief." You came near when I called you, and you said,
"Do not fear." O Lord, you took up my case; you
redeemed my life."
Lamentations 3:56-58 NIV
