Up on the hilltop I did find Him
as I traveled from the valley below
Never giving up hope of finding Him
I trudged on, though going was slow.
I found and believed His Promises
those treasures of great worth
That sustained me in the wilderness
of living this life on earth.
His Glory is shown all around us
as we listen for His song...
It comes to one and all of us
He has been here all along.
Eyes to see, and ears to hear
what saith He to His sheep?
Come at once and follow ME
for the way can be very steep.
Do Not Fear...I have gone before you
I assure you that you will find
Comfort, peace, love, and joy
I've designed for humankind.
So pick up your cross and follow
in the path I have designed
I have laid out the path for you
and it is up to you to find.
